After concluding yet another AK build on Escape from Tarkovs Gunsmith Part 18, Mechanic will contact you in pursuit of another gun build, this time a little more interesting. Within Gunsmith Part 19, Mechanic requests a highly-modified SVDS sniper rifle, something that can be used frequently throughout most maps in Escape from Tarkov. Despite being expensive, this task teaches you how to build an excellent weapon and destroy players regardless of their ranks. This quest requires level 36 to be completed and Mechanic will offer you the quest 24 hours after completing Gunsmith part 18, so don't be concerned if you haven't received the task yet!

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 19
Gunsmith Part 19 will require a series of weapon attachments for the SVDS following these criteria:
- 60 Durability
- 15 or more ergonomics
- 400 or less recoil
- A silencer
- Magpul UBR GEN2 stock (Black)
- SVD SAG MK1 chassis
- AK Magpul MOE pistol grip (Black)
- March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP 30mm riflescope
If running low on money, player-scavs can spawn with SVDS sniper rifles, although make sure the durability is above 60. Players can also find this weapon in weapon crates around maps and is especially easy to find on Customs and Reserve. You can purchase the SVDS from Prapor loyalty level three for a cheap price, or from the Flea market, it's the attachments that are going to cost the big bucks.
How To Complete Gunsmith Part 19
To complete Gunsmith Part 19, modify the SVDS with these attachments:
| Attachment | Merchant | Loyalty Level |
| AK Magpul MOE pistol grip (Black) | Mechanic | LL3 |
| SVDS Lynx Arms Hinge buffer tube adapter | Jaeger | LL2 |
| SVD SAG MK1 chassis | Mechanic | LL3 |
| SVDS custom-cut dust cover | Mechanic | LL3 |

These weapon attachments are nearly impossible to find around general map locations and will take players a significantly long time trying to obtain them. To save time, it's highly recommended that you purchase these straight from the Merchants or the Flea market. Player's ranks should enable all these loyalty levels to already be achieved, provided you're keeping up with the loyalty of each trader and completing tasks for them.
